After consistently leading in all three rounds and getting a perfect score in the difficult round, the Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) emerged as the 1st Regional IT Quiz Bowl Champion held during the 1st Philippine Society of Information Technology Students (PSITS) Regional Convention at Notre Dame University, Cotabato City, last March 12, 2010.
John Michael Sabnal and Meliza Lerio, both third year BS in Information Technology students, represented NDKC in the said event.

The complete results of the said competition are as follows.
- CHAMPION - Notre Dame of Kidapawan College, Kidapawan City
- 1st runner-up - Notre Dame University, Cotabato City
- 2nd runner-up - Notre Dame of Midsayap College, Midsayap, Cotabato
- 3rd runner-up - Notre Dame of Tacurong College, Tacurong City
- 4th runner-up - Sultan Kudarat State University, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat
The said convention was participated by eight IT schools coming from region 12.
