My Closing Remarks - Retirement Program 2010

Borrowing the words of a famous author. . . "Age is only a number, a cipher for the records. A man can't retire his experience. He must use it." (Bernard Baruch)
Bro. Briccio J. Baynosa, FMS (The NDKC OIC-President), Bro. Noel T. Fernandez, FMS (The IBED Principal), Marist Brothers, Administrators, Faculty, Staff, our Honorees: Miss Nilda Tan, Mrs. Norma Aleman, and Mrs. Gavina S. Dua
A pleasant evening to all of you!
We have a lot of reasons to be thankful to God. This is because of our dear honorees who have spent more or less one half of their lives in the service of Marist education in this part of the country.
We thank the Lord for giving us Maam Norma, Maam Nilda, and Maam Gavina. Words are not enough to describe how we really appreciate your gift of presence.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the people behind this event - the members of the Committee on Institutional Activities or the CIA headed by the Director of Student Affairs and Services, Mr. Santiago Angulo, Jr.
To end, I will be giving a check to each of our honorees. This is a retirement love gift from all the members of the Faculty-Employees Association (FEA) of the Notre Dame of Kidapawan College.
Thank you very much and good evening.
---Rico E. Nonles (NDKC-FEA President), delivered during the Retirement Program last March 24, 2010 at the NDKC Gymnasium---
